Important Factors to Beautify Your Supplications




Dua is defined as an invocation or prayer addressed to Allah SWT by the Muslims. Supplicating to Allah has the power to change fate, which is not possible from any of our other actions. Supplications are the essence of Ibadah or worship, with it we can never be failing and without it success is hard. Dua should be the first and the last resort for the Muslims and all his plans coming in between, prayers are the conversation with Allah, Our Creator, Our Lord and Master.

In the Qur'an, Allah says:  

"When My servants ask about Me, I am indeed close to them.  I listen to the prayer of every supplicant, when he calls on Me.  Let them also, with a will, listen to My call, and believe in Me, so that they may walk in the right way" (Qur'an 2:186).
Aside from daily five prayers, Muslims are recommended to make duas from their Lord Allah, even for small things. This is one of the deeds that Allah likes the most.  Throughout our daily routines number of event comes, when we should say dua, but due to lack of Islamic duas we miss the chance of pleasing our Lord and to request Him for His great blessings upon us. The post continues with some of the essential factors we should consider while making duas to beautify them.
  1. Try to have Wudu throughout a day it will gives you a feel of purification and you will try to avoid to be a part of bad things.
  2. Start making duas with the name of Allah; recite some The Quranic verses depicting Allah’s power and His blessings or you can also recite some or all beautiful names of Allah also known as Asma-ul-Husna.
  3.  Continue your dua with Darood-e-Ibareem as its recitation in the beginning and the end works as an envelope and a seal respectively.
  4. Show modesty, appeal, desire and fear while making Dua.
  5. Confess your mistakes, sins and ask Allah by your good deeds.
  6. Show your need of Allah’s help and implore Him for release from weakness, and sufferings or things you want.
  7. Make dua with the feel that it will be granted and end it with Darood.
There are some special times when Duas are more likely to be accepted, so we should try to make Duas at that time in every condition i.e. between the time of Adhan and Iqama, when it is raining, while traveling, In Sajood, On day of Arafa, while drinking Zam-Zam water from well, During Lila-tul-Qadar in Ramadan, on Friday and many more. Allah always gives us a chance to change ourselves and turn towards Allah. May Allah keep guiding us and leads us towards righteous path.
